Hair transplant in Gothenburg or abroad?
Hair transplantation is a rapidly growing field and the method has improved significantly in recent years. With the technological advances that have been made, the results are now really good. The long scars at the back of the head or small tufts of hair that looked like a doll's are a thing of the past!
Hair transplantation has been done for a long time, but the technique has been improved and refined. The modern FUE technique (Follicular Unit Extraction) involves moving individual hair follicles from the back of the head to the empty areas at the crown and hairline. The first transplant for so-called "male pattern baldness" was performed in New York in the 50s.
The pattern of typical male pattern baldness is that the forehead becomes higher, the folds at the temples become deeper and at the same time or later the hair on the top of the head falls out.
What's really exciting is that the hair follicles on the back of the head usually last a lifetime, even if we move them! That's the basic requirement for hair transplantation.
Hair transplants are time-consuming and many are attracted by cheap prices in places like Turkey. Within the industry, it is noticeable that more and more people are coming with substandard results and sad experiences after having their treatment there. Of course, there are also good clinics with doctors who are skilled, but unfortunately that does not always seem to be the case. We have heard some really sad stories and would like to raise a warning finger for all types of medical tourism. Not least for the high percentage of resistant bacteria that are found in large parts of southern Europe and that we here at home are relatively spared from. Being able to see your doctor both before and after a procedure should also be a given.
With us you always meet a dermatologist at least once, often twice before a transplant, then you go through the conditions and expectations. For a transplant to be successful in the long term, you must choose the right time. There may also be alternative treatments such as prescription medications that can be a first step in treating hair loss or complement a transplant.
A leading country when it comes to hair transplants is the USA, where the procedure is usually performed by a dermatologist or plastic surgeon who has both the medical knowledge of skin and hair and is used to working with aesthetics. In recent years, Neograft has become an extremely popular tool in the USA. Neograft is used to remove hair follicles gently and with high precision, which provides high quality of the hair follicles to be moved. This in turn increases the percentage of hair follicles that attach and heal in the new place.

Mini eyebrow lift makes you feel younger and look more vibrant
There are two areas on the face where aging is first visible – Around the eyes and on the neck.
One of the most common procedures we perform at Elite Clinic is upper eyelid surgeryWhen there is excess skin on your eyelids, you look tired. It can be difficult to apply makeup to your eyelids, and when it hangs enough, it can cause headaches or reduce your field of vision.
After upper eyelid surgery, you feel younger and it is not uncommon to hear comments from those around you about how fresh and rested you look. The eye area is not only the upper eyelids but also the eyebrow area and lower eyelids.
As we age, the elasticity of the skin decreases and the forehead actually becomes longer, which leads to the eyebrows hanging further down. In particular, the eyebrows often hang down at the very end, which can give the impression of a small curtain hanging down on the eyelid.
So it is common that both a small mini-lift of the eyebrows and excess skin removal from the eyelids are needed to get the very best result.

Many different things affect the appearance of the butt. Most people want a firm, toned butt or a larger, fuller butt. Exercise causes the large butt muscle, the Gluteus Maximus, to increase in size, and our genes and heredity are particularly important in how the butt looks. Some people have smaller butts and others have larger butts. Butt implants can help shape the butt you may have had before or desire.
The shape of the butt also varies:
- A-shaped
- V-shaped
- Inverted heart-shaped
- Cow
Aging, pregnancy, and weight loss affect the buttocks by reducing fat and muscle. The ligaments (fixed connections between muscle and skin) are also affected and become more lax. Both men and women suffer from changes that result in a smaller and more saggy buttocks.
To improve the appearance, there are several things you can do:
- Exersize Of course, it provides many benefits and a firmer butt, but unfortunately it is not always enough.
- BBL (Brazilian butt lift)
- Implant (silicone)
- Combination of implants and fat as both the shape of the butt and the projection (how much the butt sticks out) can improve the appearance.
Implants give a larger butt and as it fills out the skin better it also reduces wrinkles and loose skin. The shape of the butt is also important and sometimes more important than the volume. The shape can be changed mainly with liposuction in the waist and the fat is then moved to the sides of the butt/hips/hip dips.
Best result if you want your butt to be bigger with a better shape:
- Buttock implants to get more volume – a buttock augmentation
- Liposuction around the waist and back
- Fat is injected back into the side of the butt to give the butt a better shape.
