Dr. Reza Tabrisi specialist in plastic surgery and neurology

Dr. Reza Tabrisi completed his medical training in Uppsala between 2006 and 2012. He completed his specialist training in neurology and then in plastic surgery at Örebro University Hospital. His research projects are primarily focused on neuropsychiatry, but he also conducts research in plastic surgery on stem cells and applied AI. His publications have been highlighted in the media on several occasions.

At Örebro University he was responsible for the medical education and represented other doctoral students in the University management. He has also been awarded the prize for best supervisor and researcher at Lund and Örebro Universities.

At Örebro University Hospital he was part of the microsurgical team in head-and-neck surgery. For some time now he has been interested in aesthetic surgery and above all migraine surgery. In Sweden, he is the only person with specialist competence in both neurology and plastic surgery. After learning emergency neurosurgical procedures at Lund University Hospital, he underwent training in migraine surgery. To deepen his knowledge, he has auscultated at several leading units in Europe and the USA. Since then, he has been responsible for Scandinavian Center for Migraine Surgery of Elite Clinic.
