Salmon sperm in skin treatment, also known as polynucleotide treatment (LAX DNA), is an innovative skin care method based on DNA fragments from salmon sperm. These fragments are called polynucleotides and has been shown in scientific studies to stimulate skin cell renewal, increase collagen and elastin production and improve skin radiance.

• The rest are natural, sterile carrier liquids that stabilize and make the product safe for injection.

It is therefore a small, but crucial active component from salmon sperm that gives the treatment its effect.

The trend took off when Jennifer Aniston in an interview with Wall Street Journal told me that she tried “the salmon sperm facial”. Shortly afterwards, she revealed Kim Kardashian in the series the kardashians that she had salmon sperm injected into her face, and Hailey Bieber has openly praised the glow and luster the treatment gives.
